Monthly Ministry Review

Hallelujah Festival

The Hallelujah Festival was held on Wednesday, October 26th, with lots of games including Bat Cave, Ooey-Gooey Hide-a-Treat, and Pie Throwing just to name a few! Also, many enjoyed hotdogs and chili, a "mini" hayride, and dressing up for our Costume Contest.

NOTE: The fun continues on Tuesday, November 22nd, with our Family Fellowship night. See Tara Harris for details.

Special Guest Speakers

Last month, Arise invited special guest speakers, Archbishop Orkwah, and his wife, Christy, from Nigeria. Pastor Christy shared the Word of God with the women on October 12th, and the Archbishop preached an anointed message on October 19th.

Chapter 13

Arise began a new ministry last month, titled Chapter 13, specifically for young single mothers. This ministry will continue every Sunday morning starting at 9:30.

NOTE: For information about Chapter 13, see Mary Elliott.

Judgment Journey

Our teenagers travelled to LaGrange on Friday, October 28th, to adventure through the end-times by taking a walk on the 'Judgment Journey' trail. Everyone had a great experience and enjoyed the fellowship.

NOTE: For more information about our Youth groups, see Mary Elliott.

Nursing Home Ministry

On Sunday, October 16th, our adults and children brought the love of Christ to those in need of companionship and encouragement at the Carrollton Nursing and Rehab Home.

NOTE: Come and join this team of ministers at 3 p.m. on November 20th. For more information about the Nursing Home Ministry, see Skylar Lewis.

Atlanta Homeless Ministry

On Sunday, October 9th and 23rd, our ministers were blessed once again to bring worship and the preaching of the Gospel to the homeless community in Atlanta. Many stayed for prayer, fellowship, and a homemade meal after the services.

NOTE: The church in Atlanta will continue on November 12th (with a Saturday Cookout) and 27th. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, see Pastor Scott Cranford.
